For over a decade, Stonewall's Workplace Conference has been Europe’s leading event for LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Join us on Friday 22 March 2024, 09.30-16.30, at etc. Venues London County Hall, for a day of interactive workshops, inspiring speakers and networking opportunities.
We’ll have a dedicated networking zone full of stalls from Stonewall and other LGBTQ+ organisations. It’ll be a space where you can make connections with hundreds of professionals from public, private and third-sector organisations.
Seeing the diversity all in one place felt very empowering. I was inspired to produce a world where all areas look like that!

EDI Speaker and Consultant
Jai Deo is an experienced EDI speaker, workshop facilitator, and consultant.
She has worked in public and private sector EDI for over five years, and helped create some of Stonewall's flagship ace and aro content, including its first ace panel event, first publicly facing ace and aro week content, and the research which led to the Ace Report (2023).
Alex Henriques da Silva (she/her)
Consultant & Pride UK Co-Lead, Accenture
Alex is the Accenture Pride UK Co-Lead and a Consultant with Accenture’s Capital Markets practice in London.
After growing up in Germany, she moved to the US for university where she had the opportunity to attend and support the Out for Undergrad Business Conference for six years, first as a student, then as a volunteer and Director before moving to the UK.
Her experience of being a visibly queer person in Financial Services in both the US and the UK have shaped her unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities for the LGBTIQ+ community in the workplace.
Kate Hutchinson (she/her)
Regional Education Manager, Diversity Role Models
Kate Hutchinson is passionate about inclusion. As a trans person, she's determined to ensure young people always feel represented and included in education.
Kate is a Regional Education Manager for LGBTQ+ education charity Diversity Role Models, a Trustee at Pride Cymru and at education charity Schools Out UK. She is also chair of Pride Wrexham. She's part of the Welsh Government’s independent LGBTQ+ Expert Panel, and has advised local authorities and teaching unions about trans inclusion in education.
She has been included in Wales Online’s annual Pinc List of the most influential LGBT+ people in Wales from 2018 to 2023, and last year was listed at number three.
Talycia Nayee (she/her)
Programme Manager, Bloody Good Employers
Talycia is Programme Manager for Bloody Good Employers, Bloody Good Period's social enterprise dedicated to supporting workplace education surrounding period care.
She aims to support the period equity space to become truly intersectional. As a South Asian woman, she has a lived understanding of how vital it is for minoritised voices to be heard in these spaces. Talycia is determined to break down barriers to access and eradicate feelings of shame and stigma surrounding periods in South Asian communities.
She is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant who has worked to champion the needs of people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent people. Highlighting the importance of our intersectional needs as humans is at the crux of what she stands for.
Ann O'Donoghue (she/her)
DEI Business Partner, Barclays
Ann O’Donoghue is part of Barclays DEI team, where she is the DEI Business Partner for Barclays UK and Global Operations, Technology and Corporate Functions. She is the global LGBT+ Agenda lead for Barclays, partnering with the business and Spectrum ERG to progress LGBT+.
Previously, she was part of Group Leadership Development at Barclays, where she created experiential high potential leadership programmes. Ann joined Barclays in November 2013.
Ann previously worked at General Electric (GE) and Royal Mail Group in a variety of HR roles.
Lisa Power (she/her)
LGBTQ+ rights activist and campaigner. Co-founder of Stonewall
Lisa Power is a lifelong LGBTQ+ and HIV activist, and co-founded Stonewall in 1989. Lisa has spent 14 years on the phones at Switchboard and 17 years at Terrence Higgins Trust fighting for people with HIV.
As Secretary General of ILGA, Lisa was the first openly LGBTQ+ person to speak at the UN for lesbian and gay rights. Lisa is currently a Trustee of Queer Britain and founder of Fast Track Cymru.
Ella Slade (they/them)
D&I Leader (LGBT+ Inclusion), Vodafone
Ella is a Diversity and Inclusion leader with five years experience spanning LGBT+ inclusion at a global and UK level.
After nine years at IBM, Ella is now Vodafone UK’s D&I Leader (LGBT+ Inclusion) and also is responsible for the D&I education of all Vodafone employees.
What drives Ella is creating thriving communities and safe spaces where employees have a true sense of belonging. Outside of work, Ella is the Secretary of The London Royals Hockey Club, and also sits on England Hockey’s D&I Advisory Group.
Rich Thompson (he/him)
Global Employee Network Lead, Capgemini
With over 15 years of experience in PMO and Project Management, Rich is now a Diversity and Inclusion professional who specializes in employee networks and organizational culture change. Working in the Capgemini Group D&I team to support and enable the Global Employee Networks to grow, connect, and thrive across 50 countries and with over 340,000 colleagues.
He is also responsible for the Inclusion Circles project, which brings together our executive leaders with small groups in over 20 countries to share each other's perspectives on bias and commit to creating more inclusive futures together.
Rico Jacob Chace (he/him)
D&I Consultant, Activist & Social Entrepreneur, Black Beetle Health
Rico, a fervent activist, champions LGBTQIA+ and Black rights.
He started his career as a Diversity Consultant when he launched 'Against Racism' post-BLM. As Trustee and Treasurer at LGBT+ Consortium, he aids the community via grant funding and advocacy, chairing panels at the London Assembly and submitting evidence at the Healthcare Committee.
Selected for the UN's UNITE 2030 and a Sustainable Investing diploma holder from Harvard Online University, he drives social impact. As Make Me Prime Minister semi-finalist, he was remembered as the only participant to continuously embody integrity and compassion. Leading the 16th Century Campaign for UK Black Pride and most recently joining Trans Societary Alliance, Rico empowers allies to engage MPs, garnering support from solidarity MPs.
The event was fantastic. It was great meeting and hearing from so many interesting people.
