Stonewall School & College Champion Awards

Learn more about the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards

The Stonewall School & College Champion awards allow School & College Champions based in England to effectively benchmark their progress and give direction to their ongoing work on LGBT inclusion, tackling homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying and celebrating diversity.

After you submit the evidence you’ve met Stonewall’s Bronze, Silver or Gold criteria, our experienced team of Education Officers will provide you with targeted feedback on the inclusion work you have already completed and help you set targets for the year ahead. Once you achieve your award, you’ll be able to proudly display your certificate as well as using your Stonewall Bronze, Silver or Gold logo on your website.

To apply for a Stonewall School & College Award, you must be a member of the Stonewall School & College Champions programme. The cost of applying for an award is included in your annual membership fee.

Depending on the year of your membership, you could be eligible for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award:

  • Bronze - one-year membership
  • Silver - two-year membership and Bronze award achieved
  • Gold - three-year membership and Bronze and Silver award achieved

Applications will open Tuesday 4 February 2020, and will close on Friday 18 December 2020. Stonewall School & College Champion members can apply here.
