Volunteers are integral to the work we do, and we aim to provide the best volunteer experience possible.
We have a wide range of opportunities available, and all our current roles are listed below. These are updated regularly, so keep an eye out for the perfect opportunity for you.
Stonewall recognises the huge contribution volunteers make to our work; we benefit from the skills, experience and enthusiasm volunteers bring. In return, we believe volunteers should be able to gain personal benefits from their time volunteering with us, and we are committed to managing volunteers in a way that allows this.
We currently have the following volunteer roles available:
Volunteer for Stonewall at the Great British Beer Festival – 6-10 August 2019, Olympia London.
What is it?
We’re very lucky to have been selected as 2019’s chosen charity at the CAMRA Great British Beer Festival. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience one of the biggest and most exciting events in the beer world at London’s iconic Olympia centre, all while raising money and awareness for Stonewall.
Last year there were over 400 breweries and more than 1,000 beers, ciders, and perries on offer, so we’re in for a treat in 2019. This year there’s also a programme of entertainment including live music, expert-led tastings, pub games, and book signings, as well as food from around the world.
How can you get involved?
We will be bucket collecting throughout the festival and we’ll also have our own stall at the venue where we will be selling merchandise, fundraising, engaging with supporters about our work, and updating them on our latest campaigns.
We’re asking people to commit to 4 and 4.5 hour shifts throughout the festival. You’ll get free entry, reimbursed travel and even a Stonewall t-shirt, and you don’t need any experience. What you do need is to be is friendly, responsible, and happy working in a team.
After you've read the role description, to sign up fill in this form and we’ll be in touch soon.
