Acas

If you want impartial advice on your workplace rights, including advice about discrimination, Acas is the go-to place for all the information you need. There’s also information about bullying and harassment at work, and what you can do if this is happening.

Citizen’s Advice – discrimination

You can get confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free from Citizen’s Advice. This page on their website includes a useful overview of your rights. It also explains what you can do if you’ve experienced unlawful discrimination, but it doesn't cover actions you can take if you've been discriminated against at work.

Trades Union Congress – union finder

More than six million workers in the UK are in a union – from nurses to pilots, actors to lorry drivers. This tool can help you to find the right union for you. Unions help workers come together and demand a better deal from their employers. Unions will offer you free legal advice if you need it, training and learning opportunities, and they can support you if you experience unlawful discrimination.

Northern Ireland

Labour Relations Agency

If you live in Northern Ireland, LRA is a great resource on your rights at work, what to do if you’re being discriminated against, and what your options are for dealing with discrimination.
