The power of inclusive workplaces

We believe in the power of a workplace that's truly inclusive. Workplaces where all LGBT employees are accepted without exception.

But inclusion is not a given. The best employers understand the need to take inclusivity seriously. They understand that staff should be able to bring their whole self to work. They understand inclusion drives better individual, business and organisational outcomes.

All Diversity Champions share this common belief.

How will you support your LGBT employees?

Stonewall's report based on YouGov research with 3,213 LGBT employees reveals the experiences of LGBT people in the workplace. Findings include:

  • More than a third of LGBT staff (35 per cent) have hidden that they are LGBT at work for fear of discrimination.
  • One in ten black, Asian and minority ethnic LGBT employees (10 per cent) have been physically attacked by customers or colleagues in the last year.
  • Nearly two in five bi people (38 per cent) aren’t out to anyone at work
