John Dickinson-Lilley

Pronouns: He/Him

I have worked in communications and campaigns throughout my career of more than twenty years. When I worked at RNIB I was part of the team that won a huge victory in securing higher rate mobility component of DLA/PIP for blind people. I also successfully secured changes to the Equality Act resulting in a strengthened reasonable adjustment duty – something that is so important for disabled people.

I spent a decade competing for Great Britain as a para-ski racer and I was incredibly proud to have retired (from competitive sport!) on a high in the world top ten and as European and British Champion. I’m also proud to have been a Stonewall Sport Champion for five years and to have seen so much positive momentum across sport thanks to the Stonewall Rainbow Laces campaign/
